Purpose
Soy Sauce and Grits (SS&G) provides an open forum for the biracial Asian and Black community (and beyond) to unite and bond with others who have various experiences, challenges, and successes. A platform to share our stories while celebrating and highlighting our victories. We look forward to educating the world (and each other) of our uniqueness and strengths and finding commonality.
Soy Sauce N’ Grits produces video content and publishes onto YouTube and/or other video hosting platforms. In addition, Soy Sauce N’ Grits also produces audio podcasts which are available on several podcast platforms, such as Amazon Music, Spotify, Player FM and etc.
Objective
◦To promote a sense of pride and purpose for all biracial communities.
◦Provide options to difficult situations and/or circumstances for those who are struggling from day to day with their identity and knowing how to appreciate both cultures.
◦Promote excitement and value in being uniquely different.
◦Empower the younger generations with the wealth of knowledge, by giving them tools and valuable information.
◦Share encouraging interviews including their success stories.
